Crossing multiple disciplines, for an 'omakase' experience

'Omakase' is a concept found in the highest levels of culinary excellence hailing from Japan, where master chefs who have honed their skills and, with the right tools & team, craft extraordinary experiences just by listening to the needs and preferences of the guest at the table. After a warm consultation, the guest will leave it to the chef ("makaseru") to decide on the menu for the day.
We would like to extend this hospitality to our work. Many out there are quick to churn out solutions and answers, but few are really willing to listen in, listen deep, and getting into the heart of the issue, so that the right proposal is tailored to each and every question - even if it's the same client.
